Mary Diacolios has been living and working in Maroussi, where she has been running her law firm for about twenty years. She studied at the Law School of Athens. She completed a master’s degree in Commercial Law and then completed a master’s degree in Tax Law at the Athens University of Economics and Business. She is a certified Mediator. During her professional career, she gained experience in all key areas, especially those related to Family Law and Real Estate Law.
She has been dealing with the public of Maroussi since 2002, when she was elected president of the Assosiation of the region «ANAVRYTA» of Maroussi. In 2006, she was elected Municipal Councilor and after the end of her term she moved to the central political scene, participating as a candidate for Member of Parliament for B’ Athens constituency in 2009. She was re-elected Municipal Councilor in Maroussi in 2014. Today, she is the head of an independent faction in the Municipal Council of Maroussi (without relationship or support from political parties).
